INTERNSHIP
Web Designer, American Red Cross, New York 10/03-12/03
In the Fall 2003 semester at Borough of Manhattan Community College I did my internship at the American Red Cross in Greater New York. My supervisor
Chi Kong Lui, who is the Web Master, put me to work on a mockup for re-designing
their Youth Volunteer Website. I came up with a simple layout that was modelled
after similar youth volunteer websites I had been researching.
I also worked on various office and web projects including
holiday safety web banners for the ny1 website (shown below). This internship introduced me various aspects of the web design prosess
and taught me that critisism is necessary for betterment.
